Local and Family History Officer
£38,310 – £42,252 per annum pro rata
(£31,925 – £35,210 per annum – 30 hours per week)
Culture Perth and Kinross are looking for a Local and Family History Officer to deliver and develop Perth and Kinross Local and Family History Service.
Applications are invited from people with a background in local history, family history, community heritage, librarianship, archives or related disciplines. We are looking for someone with both a customer and collections focussed approach, who enjoys sharing their knowledge and enthusiasm for local and family history with a wide range of users and will also enjoy progressing collections development activity within the department.
The successful candidate will be part of a small team delivering Local and Family History services across Perth & Kinross. They will also have line management responsibility for the team’s public service staff.
