Join us for a five-week course where you’ll learn a variety of sewing techniques. By the end, you will have made a bag, a pair of trousers, and other small items, while gaining confidence in basic sewing skills and trying a few more advanced techniques.

Places are free but must be booked through the library. This is a popular class with limited spaces, so please let us know if you cannot attend. Please email the Lend and Mend Hub at the AK Bell Library to book a place.

To get the most from the course, please book all five sessions. If you miss a session without notifying us, we may need to offer your place to someone else.

Please note that this class is specifically aimed at 16-25 year olds. The course runs from Saturday 31 January 2026 to Saturday 28 February 2026.
