We are delighted that Perth and Kinross Councillors have voted to provide additional funding to protect our frontline culture services over the next two years. We are incredibly grateful for this continued support and will work with both Council Officers and our communities to identify longer-term models of service delivery in our rural libraries. This decision will be a relief to our staff who work in libraries and to the communities who value them so highly.  

We thank everyone across Perth and Kinross and Scotland who has passionately campaigned for the value of libraries and arts and culture over recent months. We look forward to working in continued partnership with you and will share information with groups once we have had an opportunity to more fully digest today’s very welcome news.
