With the dust just settled on a successful Soutar Festival of Words 2021, Culture Perth and Kinross are already looking forward to next year’s festival. The 2022 festival will take place from Friday, April 22nd until Sunday 24th, at venues across Perth and Kinross.

The Soutar Festival of Words, inspired by Perth Poet and Writer William Soutar, will return with a blended model of exciting events in-venue and online, as the cultural trust seeks to make the festival accessible wherever you are in the world.

The headline guests of Douglas Stuart, Sally Magnusson, Vic Galloway, Cameron McNeish and Elaine C Smith were well received with positive feedback.

Customers who attended Soutar events across the weekend spoke of their delight post-event saying, “thank you so much for bringing a bit of culture into my life” and “a very enjoyable and interesting event…excellent speaker and interviewer.”
