Culture Perth & Kinross -

As part of the development of displays for the Perth City Hall Museum project, Culture Perth and Kinross is embarking on an exciting project to collect the memories and experiences of former employees of Pullars of Perth.

The story of J. Pullar and Sons Ltd is symbolic of the changes to Perth’s industrial landscape, from its roots in 1824 as a pioneering dyeworks with just six employees through to an iconic dyeing and laundry brand on the high street.

Culture Perth and Kinross are inviting former staff to reminisce about the company, and have the chance to explore dyeing, printing, and the fascinating Pullar’s collection of historic objects.

Project lead Robin Patel, Communities Curator, would like to speak with former members of Pullar’s staff who want to share their memories. If that sounds like you or someone you know,  please complete a short online form here: bit.ly/pullars.

Robin can also be contacted by phone on 01738 783 414 / 07815 312 562 or via email at [email protected]
