Museums and Mysteries: Tabletop Adventures

  • Perth Museum

Culture Perth & Kinross -

A magical museum, mythical creatures, brain-teasing adventures, and a talking deer? Delve into the world of Museums and Mysteries, a tabletop adventure game, this summer.

Join our “Session Zero” on Thursday, the 26th of June, 2025, from 5.30pm, where you will learn all about the mechanics of how to play a tabletop game and create characters to use in any of our one-off adventures. A tabletop game is played by a group of people using just paper, a pencil, and dice. Guided by a “Dungeon Master,” the players are taken through an imagined world with unique creatures to meet and mysteries to solve.

Come along each week to experience immersive storytelling, navigate puzzles, and work together as a team to solve the Museum Mysteries!

To play, all you will need is a £1 donation. Spaces are limited; this is a first-come, first-play event. If you miss the chance to take part in a session, there will also be card games to join in during the evening.

Each week, from 5.30pm to 7pm, a new adventure starts, so you can come along to all or just one; it is up to you. Paper, pencils, and dice will be provided, but you are more than welcome to bring your own!
