In this lively music session, we explore rhythm and beats using drums and body percussion, enjoy interactive games, sing a range of lively songs from around the world, and share a story through song.
Children under 8 must be accompanied by an adult.

Summer Reading Challenge 2026
The 2026 Summer Reading Challenge, “Read to the Beat!”, is a free programme for children aged 4–11. It invites children to read six books during the summer holidays, with a fun theme around music, sound, and stories. Families can sign up at any Culture Perth & Kinross library. Children will receive a challenge pack, collect stickers as they go, and earn a certificate and medal when they finish.
The challenge supports children to keep reading over the summer and feel confident and ready for the new school year.
